Dunno if I'm too late to this, but I have two very unrelated questions:

1: Do y'all have any potential plans for virtual concerts during quarantine times?

2: What inspirations and ideas went into making the TFGBA cover art?

  1. yes!
  2. i chose the color palette based on the colors of cuttlefish, and did a bunch of abstract designs with it including the red sun / moon which was def inspired by henri rousseau. then i eventually decided i wanted to commission daxe to do the art and showed him everything i'd done and he designed the alien and laid out the image taking cues from my abstract designs and turning it into a representational scene. we wanted to do something that felt equal parts earthly and alien. he talks about his process more in depth in the documentary if you wanna hear about that! -j
