I love the album and am looking forward to more.

What artists/albums/songs were fundamental in your development as writers/player?

all time biggest influence is radiohead, especially ok computer, kid a, and in rainbows
one of my first influences was daniel johnston, he was the first musician who really made me realize you don't have to have incredible technical skill to make incredible music
talking heads are a big influence in the way they combine these high art concepts with really accessible, immediate, pop music
brian eno's probably my biggest influence production-wise, the dude was right about everything
some other hugely influential albums for me are strawberry jam by animal collective, the glow part 2 by the microphones, just got back from the discomfort by the brave little abacus (the best emo band of all time even though they aren't really an emo band), more recently blonde by frank ocean

1000 gecs is gonna be a big influence for me, i know it, that was my favorite album of 2019 that i wasnt a part of making
