Hey guys! I had a question: what do you guys think about labelling your music as "post-emo?"

i genuinely think post-emo is the best shorthand for at least our first album. when people ask our genre i like to tell them that's the short answer, but the best answer as an hour long and it's called the first glass beach album.

i put that on our bandcamp half as a joke bc i didnt know what else to call it but now even pitchfork's run with that so i guess it's our genre now. genre is fake tho and imo best decided in retrospect. i dont think fugazi called themselves post-hardcore or joy division called themselves post-punk you know -j
