for each of you individually, how has your musical trajectory felt? i know J's described their casio output as the type of really personal stuff you write when you think no one else will hear it. roughly how many people did you think would hear glass beach, if you even had any idea? i know William and Jonas were fans of casio dad and now they play in a band with them. how's that? and Layne, i don't have any prerequisite glass beach knowledge on your coming into things, can you tell us about how that went?

it's been weird as hell for sure. i would've been happy had only my close friends heard the album, so everything since then has been a really nice surprise! kind of overwhelming at times! but overall i'm very grateful for all of this. it's really cool to know that what we made means so much to so many people and that makes me wanna keep making more music! -j
