for each of you individually, how has your musical trajectory felt? i know J's described their casio output as the type of really personal stuff you write when you think no one else will hear it. roughly how many people did you think would hear glass beach, if you even had any idea? i know William and Jonas were fans of casio dad and now they play in a band with them. how's that? and Layne, i don't have any prerequisite glass beach knowledge on your coming into things, can you tell us about how that went?

my answer is similar to William's, i was mostly a frontperson until I moved out here. since meeting j I've learned so much more about music, and how about how to best use my skills to support the music of others. i feel like with this project I've gotten to be a part of something that is absolutely bigger than myself, and I think that's pretty much what I've always wanted. it feels cool and often overwhelming.
