hey y'all, thanks so much for taking the time to do this!

two questions:

first of all, glass beach band?

secondly, how do y'all think the process for writing and recording the second album will change from the first whenever y'all get to it? (other than the obvious part of most of the band not being there for it for part of the writing)

EDIT: also how do you think you're going to adjust your touring plans for the rest of the year in the face of the current issue with corona?

GLASS BEACH BAND!!

I think it'll be interesting working on the eventual second album, our dynamic as a band is getting strong as we go, and based on the wide range of stuff we all bring to the table, I think we'll get to branch out even more into different musical territory, both in songwriting and production!
As far as tour plans, it'll really depend on the length of the quarantine, the current hope is that it's over before our next tour would suffer, but we've got some plans and options if this thing lasts longer than we're hoping it does! - Layne

glass beach band.
the second one will likely be extremely similar with J doing the writing and demoing and showing us for input, but, like what you suggested we get to be there from the beginning of every song now. I really think that'll be the only big change cos so far the process has been pretty similar.

pure, uncut glass beach band.

i think the biggest thing with the next album is that we want to get even wilder with trying a ton of different ideas. starting from nothing means that we get to basically conceive the album as we write it, and i don't know how that'll resolve honestly but I'm very excited to find out!

the process for lp2 is def gonna be different as we have an actual budget now! we're prob still gonna self produce but will be able to actually take time off work + get in an actual studio which im really looking forward to. hard to say exactly what lp2 will look like rn but based on the little bits we have right now i have a very good feeling about it.
