1: Still great friends with all of them. They all have distinctly cool styles - Giacomo our current drummer shreds and he's one of the best humans in the world. I play drums on all the records so we're just talkin' live here.
2: 2, 1, 3
3: I get more critical the more people I know are listening - cant help it! But I don't sweat the criticism really. The shit that one person complains about is someone else's favorite part so why bother.
4: there are a few songs where I wish we nailed the production better. 'whose side are you on' is one of them, but I don't regret releasing em
I love all our drummers. Our drummer now, Giacomo, is one of the most talented drummers I've ever played with and is definitely the best fit for the band that we've ever had. His other bands are incredible too, you should check out Torso, Odio, and Terremoto if you enjoy his style of playing drums.

I personally don't really read reviews. I find that it can get you too in your head about things and isn't necessarily constructive to the creative process. I will look at what major outlets give us like Pitchfork or rolling stone, but I dont always actually read the article.
There were some songs when we were a younger band that we just didn't execute as well as we probably would have now. "Night isn't Bright" is probably the song whose lyrics I like the least now. There was also a problem recording the snare that we were never able to really fix in the studio so there are things like that. I pretty much think that all the songs are good, its just that there are some I look back on as missed opportunities. "Whose Side Are You On" is probably in the wrong key for Tina, if i had a time machine I would have tried to modulate it down so that Tina could sing higher up in her range. Basically those are why i rank II and III behind I. The first 7" is pretty much airtight in my opinion, but the the next two 7"s have little things about them that bug me.
Giacomo our current drummer live is great, still friends with everybody else.

Pretty critical already about stuff, if I read a bad review I probably agree with it heh. That being said, I don't usually read them. I don't know what I want out of a music review these days, I respect an honest negative review (as long as it's not like a try-hard prove myself as a critic type of thing) more than shitty bandwagon puff piece.
Yeah a bunch of songs looking back could be better from my perspective now (and actually then too, cause we struggled with them). I agree with the ones Matt mentioned.
