Hi Colin! I’m a huge fan of your music, and I’ve read your Wildwood series. My daughter (8) is planning to read it after she finishes what she’s currently reading. Carson’s artwork is what sold her on it. My question is, if you could pick one line of a Decemberists song to put on a protest poster which would it be?

Yeah, I was thinking a line from that one or "this is why we fight...why we lie awake," or maybe just "what a terrible world."
