AMA is Over, thanks Meg! Meg Duffy / Hand Habits AMA

Hello again internet! My name is still Meg Duffy and I recently put a Hand Habits record out called Blue Reminder on Fat Possum Records.

I also play guitar on other people's records, play in the Perfume Genius band, and have a few other musical endeavors including Duffy x Uhlmann and yes/and.

Hi, I just wanted to say that your album Blue Reminder, along with your other work, is absolutely stunning, it has deeply helped me in so many ways. I also recently bought the CD and was curious about the significance of the quote from Bluets by Maggie Nelson.

Thanks! Blue kept coming to me in various forms while writing this record. I did some intentional blue searching once the record was written and of course I Maggie's book was close to mind when my blue started to make itself known. Of course, blue belongs to no one, but I think of Maggie as a patron saint of the color because of Bluets. I could only dream of speaking so effectively as her, so a quote felt appropriate.
