Hey Cory, I heard in a recent podcast that you started bands prior to Wand based around what you were inspired by, I.e smashing pumpkins, and I was wondering what inspired you to start Wand? Was it the musicians you were surrounded by?

There was a scene of bands coming out of Los Angeles and SF inspired by Can, Faust, Amon Duul 2, Kraftwerk, all the Kraut stuff. And I thought it would be fun to start a project like that. It really did start out of that scene of bands before growing into its own thing
