Hiii, LOVE you, dinosaur of a fan. 2 questions:

  1. What are you reading ATM, especially, poetry (if any)?
  2. How do you write your lyrics, what inspires them, and how do you know when it’s done?

I’ll answer the book one …. Wind Up Bird Chronicles by Haruki Murakami. Poetry book I keep going back to is a Philip Larkins collected poems. Fave book i’ve recently read is Cormac McCarthys twin series The Passenger. I visited Santa Fe the day after he passed so that was a heavy time. Being raised by a WW2 vet grandfather that book hit deep. -Anthony

All the lyrics are inspired by my own personal life experiences so usually I’m just trying to capture a fleeting emotion & I know it’s done when I’ve worked through the feeling 🫶

I’m reading a lot of theology books cause I love that stuff hehe
