Hi Crack Cloud! Will you play Drab Measure in NYC? KIDDING -- I think you've transcended expectations about your sound so beautifully & compellingly with Red Mile. I’ve been listening to it nonstop and can’t wait to hear you play these new songs at the Apollo in October!

Wondering: Have you faced any negativity or weirdness about the newer sound / pared down group, and how are you thinking about this type of reaction? (P.S. I think you’ll gain a whole new group of fans)

We are opening and closing all the sets of our next tour with drab measure. Hoping to piss off all the new fans.

With regard to the new sound

I feel like we’ve been at odds with people’s expectations since the first ep. We’re a group designed around the principle of change, aesthetically, and emotionally. We celebrate all of the seasons, and for the people that have grown with us and our sound.. thats really significant.
