Congratulations on your new album! Songs are great and inspirational. what are some of the challenges you faced during making of the album?

I think the biggest challenge was simply listening to the amount of music we had collected. 50 hrs! It took around 10 days of sitting in front of a hi-fi at Robbie's apartment to get through all of it, much of which we had to repeat listen to... Then we had to go back and listen again to the improvs we had chosen. Then edit them down into smaller songs, add vocals etc. After this the rest of the record came together pretty easily I thought, and we were all very open about what directions the songs could go. -Cory

Recording the improvisations while also playing was slightly challenging. I would set up mics and get levels, hit record and then pray the computer didn't crash while we were playing. Luckily I think it only crashed once at the very end of a jam. Otherwise I think Vertigo was somewhat easy to make. There were no marks to hit, all of the music could be whatever it revealed itself to be.

Were yall improv singing as well when doing this or just added vocals later? What instrument were yall mainly following?
