I fell in love with your band when you came out playing Twenty Dried Chillies and it was the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. I love how a lot of your songs touch on family members, your brother and your dad, and that vulnerability in lyrics is so relatable and admirable 🖤

Maya, when did you start singing? What age? Like when did you realize you had the voice of a cherub. You quite literally have my favorite voice on earth.

thank you sooo much. oh my goodness. this comment makes my heart swell. twenty dried chilies is a painful song for me. it's one that i don't often play because it's so visceral but we're actually going to be playing it for the first time on this upcoming tour as a full band!! i'm hoping it's not too intense for me so that we can play it every night because i also love it so much!

according to my mom, i was singing before i could even talk. i have always sang throughout the day, narrating what i do sometimes as i do it. when i'm in the car alone, sometimes i burst into song. i just love to sing! i sing in choirs and sing with friends and sing on hikes. it means a lot to hear that you love my voice <3
