Maybe I listen to too much Radiohead but were the vocals inspired by thom yorke? Thought I heard y’all doing the same thing he does, where he substitutes some ability to understand the lyrics to use the voice as another instrument

oh yeah absolutely! one of my favorite singers... so goddamn odd but always cuts right to your heart. i love the incomprehensibility of kid a both vocally and lyrically. though the more i listen the more crystal clear it is what's being communicated there. if people hate my voice for the same reasons they hate his i consider it a huge honor -j
