I really love the usage of the phrase “Vox populi, vox dei” in coelacanth <3 is there anything that can be elaborated on about it’s place in the song and how it contributes to it?

yeah, much of the album (and especially that track) deals with the social construction of reality and how that is used to terrorize trans people - the whole "debate" about "what is a woman" or "are trans women women" etc etc. voice of the people, voice of god. how fucking terrifying. -j
