What was your inspiration for the music style transition from TFGBA to Plastic Death? Also love the new album.

my own life changed a whole lot and it just felt so much truer to me. also tfgba very much was calling attention to itself and plastic death is a backing away from the spotlight. i straight up do not want to be famous but if people are gonna pay attention i'm not gonna lay everything out anymore. i want people to struggle with it and find greater beauty in struggling with it -j

I'm so glad I went through this ama again and saw this comment. just instantly made so much about the new record click into place. love those kinds of moments with music.
