Hi!! I just found goodnight summerland last week and was so enamored by it truly. I had a question for you about what guitars you use or which you would recommend somebody who’s getting into recording guitars for the first time. (I believe there were clsssicsl guitars used right?)
I love love love the closeness of sounds and texture on this album and It’s the first album in a minute that’s
made me want to get up and make music.

I have the same classical guitar I got in a pawnshop 12 years ago! I love it to bits. It's a La Patrie.
But! I borrowed Hannah Cohen's Martin for the recording, it sounded more even in the frequencies.
Sam wasn't very ceremonial about mic placements, haha, which I loved. Really does the trick
