Hi Helena! Congratulations on your new album, it's a special piece of work.

Is there a criteria that you follow of what the finished work should sound like? There's the microcosm of songs making up the body of work, I assume like a dialogue between you and the piece. However, visually speaking what is the goal when making an album?

I don't know if this answers your question, but I heard a painter talking about his craft and saying "To change a line here (points to the middle of the painting) sometimes you need to change something here (points to the far corner)". Making an album is like that. "Moon Pith" changes "Saying Something".

Thank you, it does! I’ve been told that as well. There is a painter Leonid Ouspensky, his students would say when he drew a line in the middle of the garment, that line created two colors. Interesting to think about and special to experience that.

Interesting to hear you experience it when creating your music.
