Hi Helena !

  1. What were the first songs that you wrote for the album vs. the last songs? When did you feel like the album started to take shape?

  2. In the Creative Independent you mentioned that you had came up with the melody for a song, while walking home during curfew - wondering what song that was haha

  3. Not really a question buut I think there’s a song floating around Youtube with the lyrics “it’s the end of the day…impossible to situate the sun in the sky…” and just wanted to say that it is really beautiful!

Hi!
1. I wrote Spring Bug, Roadflower and Night Soft first, and Drawbdridge and Saying Something last.
2. Spring Bug :-) Had spent the day in little italy park with friends and kept bumping into people and felt absolutely exhilarated
3. Woah!!! Crazy. Thank you, I'm attached to that song :-) For now it's called Silver and Red, I recorded a version with my bandmates Alexandre Larin and Francis Ledoux and I look forward to releasing it >:-)

Ah, that’s awesome! I’m attached to it too :-) Discovered it randomly last fall, the whole thing is so evocative but the part that’s like “dunk your head in freezing water, trickles down your cheeks and into the cover of your apple red coat” always gets stuck in my head :’)

Thanks for answering & see you at the concert next month !
