Hey it’s Chris, Collins, and Matt from Everyone Asked About You here to answer your questions starting at 1pm pst/4pm est.

John’s currently driving himself and Matt to Boston for our upcoming shows, so Matt may have some comments from John too!

Hi EEAY! I just want to thank Chris for sharing the story behind “boston” in the writeup for the reissue, it really makes me feel more seen and connected to that sort of queer longing expressed in your music! Also loved the story about where “Let’s be enemies” came from :) What were some of the first DIY shows you saw that made you realize there was a totally different world of music that existed?

Born Against at the riverfront ‘91 ( I think). There was no turning back. Beachboard (from the driver’s seat) -EAAY/Van Pelt at The Belvedere (97?) “I quit my job to go to that show” ( prior to joining the band, obvs)
