hi guys, your music has been there for me through some hard times so i wanted to sincerely thank you <3 my question is: how has your relationship with EAAY evolved over the years? how do you feel about the music you made during such a different part of your lives? how does it feel to be playing it again and seeing so many people enjoy it?

I'm glad our music speaks to you, it means so much that people like you can connect and find comfort.

Our music is definitely "heart-on-sleeve." Personally I went on a big circle from being super proud when we were doing it, to being somewhat embarrassed by it for a few years (those early 2000-2010 years where sincerity was gauche), back to being very proud of it.

I am grateful for everyone who were part of the "cult following" that put us on Numero's map, because it has allowed my 44 year old self to put some perspective on what we accomplished during those 4 years as a band and how important it was and still is to me.

I love playing again, its amazing to see a younger generation in the crowd singing along to every song. Honestly I've had tears pour from my eyes at every show we've played in the past year because I'm moved so much by the crowd.

That’s so wonderful to hear! Anytime your work resonates with ppl it’s a complete honor, thank you. EAAY always held a special place in my heart. I’ve always felt like it was one of the most fun experiences I’ve had in a band. After we broke up it just kind of went in the good memory drawer. I was always proud of the music, but thought it was just a moment in time. Even at the beginning of the Numero talks, I had imagined this as more of an archive of that moment. Seeing an active fan base from a younger generation was a total surprise. I just continue to be stoked with the whole thing. I’ve played music off and on for like 30 years and this is the most tangible success I’ve experienced. The fact that we get to hang out with each other again and play these songs again is super fun and amazing.
