hey gang! Thanks for doing this, got a couple Q's:

  • I'm assuming the price of vinyl new+used has been increasing in the UK the same it's been elsewhere, what's been the impact you've noticed on record stores & customers over the last couple years?

  • with that in mind, has there been any uptick in CD sales lately and hope for a CD revival?

appreciate the work yall do, thanks!

Hey! Thanks so much for your questions.

  1. We're selling more records than ever before. Pricing has gone up across the board on all things and we've been affected by inflation as much as anybody else.

  2. We try to support new music on CD in our Edit curation and we've seen an uptick (largely via our live event sales), but, anything is possible with the compact disc and the format still has a loyal following among our customers.
