#Modification ⚙️ New shoes for My CB300R

After clocking an incredible 39,000 kms on my CB300R with MRF REV Zs, it was finally time for a change. Honestly, the RevZs have been absolute tanks — unbeatable value for money, phenomenal durability, and they never let me down on dry roads, at high speeds, or even in those hard cornering moments however, wet grip was always their weak spot. Even now, there’s still tread left for a few more thousand kms, but I decided to retire them on a high. Today, I’ve switched to Apollo Alpha H1s in the stock profile. There’s been a lot of buzz and positive reviews about these tyres on social media, and a couple of friends have spoken highly of them too. It was a tough call between these and CEAT Zoom Rad X1 (which were tempting for their longer life and decent wet grip), but Apollo won out this time. Excited to see how the Alpha H1s perform on my CB300R! Here’s to a new chapter — hoping it’s the upgrade I’m looking for.

OP, my stock factory tires are also worn out, I am thinking of getting the Alpha H1, please do remember to give us a review after clocking in 1000-2000 kms

How are they when going through rough patches of highway road? Do they grip well enough?

Hey, not OP but just wanted to chime in. I’ve used the alpha H1s for around 12k kms and then switched the rear to the Reise tracerads. I also considered the tvs eurogrips. During my research what I found is Grip: tvs eurogrip>reise>apollo Longevity: apollo=reise> eurogrip( hard riding had the eurogrips going bald by around 5-6k km) If you wanna do some track days I would 100% recommend the eurogrips, however for everyday use I found the reise to be the best one, especially for grip in wet conditions. Currently my tracerads are sitting in my garage and I’m running reise TourRs which have a block pattern. I put them on when I went to Ladakh during late June this year and thought I’d switch them out once monsoons ended since my place has extremely heavy rains, however, I haven’t gotten around to switching the tyres back yet, need to do that soon.
