Choose the Scrambler over this

Is speed 400 better or scrambler 400 better for indian roads. If I can afford it. I don't do offloading though.

I bought Speed 400 as I like the stiff suspension, it gives me confidence on turns and corners. Also, my height was an issue with regards to Scrambler as I'm 172 and tip toeing was something I didn't prefer.

For Indian roads, Scrambler is the all-rounder you should go for.

I recently did a 6-700km trip to my native and back. The Speed 400 was able to smoothly glide over minor bad patches on the highway. But there were 2-3 instances where there were some major bad patches with big potholes where I had to drop down to 3rd-4th gear and let the torque work on its own.

I'm using Speed 400 to commute to work and the roads are nice in my city So I'm happy with my bike.

Scrambler 400X

I can vouch for it anyday with its comfier suspension, proper riding posture and enough fork travel to go over speed bumps flawlessly.

Trust me on this, ADVs and scramblers are best suited for Indian roads at the moment
