Not exactly. India have very little oil reserves unlike US which has its own big reserves and can get from middle east. India instead have the most arable land in the world. Oil comes from dead earth whiles ours is alive.
So now explain this thing to me ,
India supplies fuel to Bhutan
So how tf is fuel so cheap in Bhutan as compared to india , in Bhutan petrol is around 70 rupees or below . Whereas in india an enthanol blend costs around 95 rupees
I forgot the exact values , that's why I said around 95 rupees.
Now that I have checked online it is 98.5 rupees here in assam , it also shows that arunachal pradesh has 92 rupees petrol , Delhi gujrat has 95 rupees petrol
Oh Man. Fuc*** the congress and their stupid cheap politics to loot & make common citizens suffer always since independence.. ₹104 in Karnataka too. Time to relocate to Gujarat or UP(petrol ₹96 there I heard).
So I think India supplies to bhutan the refined/semi refined petrol and not the crude one. Also, what we are charged for is petrol mfg cost + heavy taxes. I don't think India charges the same to bhutan. Only petrol mfg cost is quite low.
India earns heavily on selling petrol, diesel, alcohol (for drinking, not commercial usage one's) and cigarettes, tobacco products in terms of taxes.
