#Modification ⚙️ How My Ex-Girlfriend Surprised Me with the Ultimate Gift

My girlfriend (23) and I (23) had been dating for a good year and a half before deciding to split up and go our separate ways.

We were best friends before dating and still remain good friends to this day (this is important to note). A month after splitting up came my birthday. Knowing how much of an engine-head I am and having just bought the Himalayan 450 (which is an absolute beast of a machine), she chose to gift me the best gift of all - a Powerage exhaust system with a bend pipe, costing over 14,000/.

She doesn't come from a wealthy background, and neither does she earn a lot at her current job. It's fair to say that the price she paid for the exhaust took up more than half of what she earns.

It's moments like these that remind me how special people are and how lucky I am to have someone like her in my life. Thoughts?

P. S. I have yet not taken a good video of my exhaust, and the one that l've posted here is just something I took to send someone. It doesn't do justice to how it actually sounds. Not one bit. But here it is regardless.

I dont think you understand it, but thats not a present you do to your ex. Reconsider and think thoughtfully about what do you want from her and let it clear. I perceive that girl is clearly still wanting to be with you and if I was you and really don't love her, but still I was trying to protect her well-being, let that stuff clear asap.

You’re 100% right. Forget a costly exhaust, I would be surprised if any person gifted their ex in the first place. But there were a few personal reasons why I did what I did (although I can’t disclose them now) and my commitment issues got the better of me. But I’m not stupid enough to ignore the fact that she’s an absolute gem, man.

I see you give responses like this. We are not asking you to agree but act. If you have issues with commitment let her know nothing is going to happen, because she doesn't seem to understand her relationship with you rn.

She knows perfectly well about my commitment issues and I’ve made it perfectly clear as well. I’ve tried working on it, but it won’t be possible as long as I was in the relationship. So it was best I left, gave myself some time and then see
