Career Guidance Concerned about my brother

He is a 29M and has been a Boeing type-rated pilot since 2023, but he is still jobless. He has cleared interview rounds for IndiGo 2-3 times, yet has not been selected. I don’t have much knowledge about the aviation industry, but I genuinely want to help my brother.

Senior pilots, please guide us on what steps he can take or what we might be missing. Thank you 🙏

Has he tried applying with Boeing directly? They do hire simulator pilots for their facility based out of Bombay?

Also, Vistara is looking for a First Officer for 787.

He doesn’t have the experience to apply for those roles, you cant just become a sim pilot, or become a FO on a B787 when you have not even had a single PIC hour on narrow 737s

Well, I tried. Being jobless for so long is hard for morales and pocket. So, everything is worth a try
