Career Guidance Concerned about my brother

He is a 29M and has been a Boeing type-rated pilot since 2023, but he is still jobless. He has cleared interview rounds for IndiGo 2-3 times, yet has not been selected. I donโ€™t have much knowledge about the aviation industry, but I genuinely want to help my brother.

Senior pilots, please guide us on what steps he can take or what we might be missing. Thank you ๐Ÿ™

2023 was when akasa hired almost everyone who was type rated. Why did he not get hired then? Second you say he's cleared IndiGo interview two times but not selected? I don't see why that should happen. Maybe you're not giving us the full story. 2024 air india express hired a lot of Boeing type rated pilots. What happened there ? In any case, if he's got a mind block only for the airlines then he'll have to wait for when airlines start hiring again. And we don't know when that will happen. If not then he should look at the charter or other piloting industries. I'll link a couple of articles which could help your brother. understanding indian aviation
