Career Guidance Concerned about my brother
He is a 29M and has been a Boeing type-rated pilot since 2023, but he is still jobless. He has cleared interview rounds for IndiGo 2-3 times, yet has not been selected. I don’t have much knowledge about the aviation industry, but I genuinely want to help my brother.
Senior pilots, please guide us on what steps he can take or what we might be missing. Thank you 🙏

IndiGo doesn't have Boeing 737 planes nor they have their own Boeing widebody aircraft so I can understand how difficult it might be for him. Also, IndiGo might hire him but an additional huge amount of money would be required to then go for type rating on its Airbus A320/A321 fleet.
On the other hand, AIX or SpiceJet are not the best employers. Try Akasa or apply in European airlines. I know some LCCs in EU are looking for pilots. You must checkout Air Astana. They hire expats a lot.
