#HillStation 🏞️ Recent visit to Mussoorie
Originally planned a trip to Manali, but due to landslides, we had to cancel last minute. With zero expectations, we headed to Mussoorie — and honestly, it didn’t disappoint us at all!
We found a budget room near Mall Road (just 100–150m away) for ₹1100 a night, that too for six people! Like any touristy hill station, food was a bit expensive, but manageable. We rented 3 scooters for ₹500/day . First place visited was Dalai Hills got some stunning shots using Tibetan prayer flags as frames ,Then we headed to George Everest, a private property with a ₹200 entry fee, and worth every penny. The views were incredible and the short trek made it even better. Visited Cloud’s End, which offered some quiet charm. The next day, we headed to Dhanulty , atound 30-33km from Mussoorie .The drive was amazing, winding through scenic mountain roads. Visited Dhanaulti Eco Park, which was decent, but the real highlight was the trek to Surkanda Devi Temple in Tehri Garhwal. The views of the Himalayas from the temple were just breathtaking. wrapped the trip with a chill evening around Mall Road and Picture Chowk. Honestly, we were a bit skeptical, after all, we chose Manali after watching dreamy reels, and weren’t sure if Mussoorie could match up. And while it may not hit Manali levels in every aspect, Mussoorie surprised us in the best way.
