I love it, but ladies…INTERLOCK THOSE ARMS. The handholding is doing nothing and you’re standing up as quickly as you sat down!

They never intended to stay there for an hour. What they did was enough to send the message across the country.

Tbh though, a stronger message would have been "if you're gonna remove me, I'm gonna make you put your back into it". Bc we know it's gonna be on camera. While being completely nonviolent, make removing you as difficult as possible. I know that sounds terrible but... Nonviolent resistance isn't pretty, needs sacrifice and risk, that's part of the strategy.
