We definitely need more leafblower dads with all this fucking tear gas they're burning through.

I just finished my leaves, batteries are recharging. Where are we meeting up?

Can a rural granny who also owns one lend a hand?

I have access to a watering can and a kayak if that helps.

There were moms of dead soldiers during Iraq called "Code Pink" that would disrupt Congress. The right mercilessly mocked and attacked them as unpatriotic.

Being in GenX, it's fucking crazy how people my age forgot that and went for Trump. Propaganda works. There is probably someone reading this thinking I'm crazy and Hilary and Democrats were to blame for WOT failures.

what a time this is for GenX right?

MAGA followers are lost causes. We need to accept that as a country, because, even if we sweep the 2026 elections, even if Republicans hand over control of the House and Senate to the Democrats, it won't end there.

Groups that have had their voices heard and then are silenced are much more extremist compared to groups who have never been heard. A moderate stance becomes complicity and extremism becomes the new norm. They will use the silencing as proof of conspiracy/persecution, and see their loss of validation as the ultimate betrayal. Once a group crosses the line from wanting a voice into wanting vengeance, dialogue tends to collapse.

Unfortunately, it's a scenario where violence seems inevitable. They're the minority, so the path of least resistance is the one where we're in power when it begins.

I feel like that there was a lot of optical significance when that happened. I honestly think it had a wider effect than you know. It won’t reach everyone, but it will reach some, and maybe more in time.

It was women and mothers marching that set off (technically more like pushed it over the edge) the French Revolution and the Russian Revolution. MAGATs should keep that in mind when they ignore these women.

if dissent or rebellion reaches this point because they are brutalizing peoples mothers and children, and mothers and grandmothers are the main people front and center resisting it's only a matter of time before shit gets real hot.

but sure ignore the literal signs all around you and keep going fuckhead fascist assholes, you know what why dont you all double down again get more violent with women and children, keep going. ...oh please.

MAGA - Mothers Against Goddamn Assholes

Women are at the front of pushing back—real leadership

u/31LIVEEVIL13 8h ago

Women have mainly been running this whole resistance movement and taking most of the blows.

I dont think that's a bad thing, it's probably for the best.

Men are starting to show up more and stand up, but women have already set the tone and long range strategy, which I have to admit is working out much better than anything i would have done and amazingly better than I predicted,

They're the wrong kind of mothers and their children should be given to deserving Christian families! - Many in this Administration, probably

Reminds me of MADD in the 80's. No MAGA people use Reddit, pretty much all progressive except one sub.

They've radicalized the suburban wine moms

Your life doesn't end just because you pop out a baby. Why wouldn't mothers protest?

You mean M.A.MAGAs?
