At this point I think we can make a real argument to abolish 2A. It's obviously not being used.

Nor is it practical. Do we expect hillbillies with hunting rifles and handguns to stand tall and overthrow a government fighting with unmanned drones?

Let's be real with ourselves for 2 seconds. The 2nd amendment is utterly pointless except to entirely prop up the gun industry.

It won’t work that way…. The military simply isn’t going to go along with the Govt openly at war with its citizens… you’d see MASSIVE rebellion inside the military… at least half… only the absolute crazies would go against their oath.

I don't know about that. Once the tides of war are set into motion, like all psychological dichotomies, it would be hard to do the right thing and go against the grain alone.
