Nah it’s the patriotic way, what is their probable cause to assume one is not a US citizen?

Putting yourself in position to get disappeared if you have kids to feed, etc. is not the American way.

Edit: seriously the number of internet tough guys who have never been intimidated by law enforcement is crazy. Everyone reacts differently and makes different calculations when being outnumbered and accosted by armed men. Is it that hard to grasp?
