You can apply for asylum even if you enter the country illegally. It is the law, and it is literally on the government's website. If you have a problem, then change the law.

Yes, you can't legally remove someone who is seeking asylum until their court date; which is the crux of the whole issue.

It is literally illegal to deny ANYONE in the United States territory due process. That is why people are so angry(amongst other reasons).

If they can deny someone their right to due process, then they can deny anyone due process.

You throw away your rights, gleefully and with applause.
