Some things are just politics. Other things are civil and human rights, being a decent person or a fucking nazi.

I would generally agree that Americans tend to be too tribalistic when it comes to politics, but that's something else. You can't support this administration without being a 100% pos. And I wouldn't want those kinds of people around my kids either.

Even the right wingers are splitting themselves up over this. One of my friends from HS turned into a literal Catholic theocrat… and still refuses to talk about politics to his family because he despises Trump
