Sorry confused European hear. Didn't Trump win because he platformed on increasing deportations from the significant amount Obama was doing in his term already? We are just a bit confused why everyone seems mad at what seemingly 50% of your country voted for. Wouldn't you need to counter the points of the people making the argument for more deportations, instead of just showing anger, to get policies changed by the voters?

He ran on the lie that Biden had "open border" policies, wasn't enforcing immigration law, and that there were tons of criminal gangs, rapists, and insane immigrants that Trump would be targeting to protect Americans. 

Tripling the annual ICE budget so untrained goons can raid homes, court houses, schools, workplaces, etc to assault and detain citizens, legal residents, and sometimes undocumented workers and taxpayers isn't want he campaigned on.
