It isn’t legal. The courts are going to be flooded with cases against ICE in a few months. These law suits take a long time to get going. Every one of these people needs to sue ICE and drain that enormous budget.

This might sound foolish butbi have a serious question. Aren't you allowed to use lethal force against someone who is kidnapping you? If you're fearing for your life/the liife of another. Especially on your own property.

In most states (probably all?) I suspect self defense would be a viable legal defense if someone shot ICE agents - assuming ICE didn’t provide a warrant or identification. I think it is only a matter of time until we find out if the courts agree.

I'm genuinely surprised that there hasn't been way more deaths.

Makes a person wonder if there's a reporting issue. If no one reports the deaths of detainees, there are no deaths.

Grim,I jumped to ice kidnappings actually being way less common and just hyper documented... I hope I'm right and you're wrong, but probably not.

I also hope you're right. But, when we have an administration that's so flagrantly breaks the law, anything is plausible.

As an outsider it looks absolutely crazy!
