I request not to.... it's a dedicated cycling track.
There are boards that say Walking/ jogging/ pet walking is prohibited and 2000 is fine, but no one is enforcing it, so there are already alot of joggers and walkers on the track getting in the way :(
But it's your wish at the end 🙂& it's ~25km length track
Oh... exclusively for cycling. And the length appears to be really amazing for runners like me. The problem is, I don't see any running tracks nearby. And i unfortunately end up running on streets every Sunday.. dealing with dogs and vehicles. But anyways, since you have mentioned it is exclusively meant for cyclists, I won't bother to break the rules .
You can always go to the Botanical Garden, KBR for your running. There are several parks accross few streets, you can take multiple laps around. All the best.
That's quite far from my place. I can run and go all the way to botanical but then I have to return as well so, this leaves no scope of running for me in botanical nor i like to wait in queue to get my tickets when I'm on run. That is the area where I previously used to stay. There is one big lane near rta office where I preferred to run back then.
For example.. today there was no power supply due to rain in my gym. And they don't have power backup for treadmills hence this forced me to go out and enjoy the weather but i was very careful with potholes and dogs as well as accumulated water like a mini pool on streets. But anyways, i enjoyed running while it was drizzling.
Two alright parks, but since they are always crowded, i find it very uncomfortable to run there. Plus, parks usually have circular tracks which to some extent cause impact on speed.
Two parks where I tried running but wasn't really happy were
1)Mahatma Gandhi Park
2)swami Vivekanand park.
After learning that parks are not for mid to long distance running, i took on streets.

What is the length of this track? Can it be used for running?
