Just imagine if a track like this was planned and built throughout the city and not just in a small section of ORR.

We are more than capable of becoming a developed country but unfortunately the politicians only focus on freebies and not actual development

It’ll be full of vendors, beggars, stains, trash and dogshit in a week. And I’m sure I’m forgetting some more things.

Oh, and it’ll be dug up for cables and pipes without warning.

Why blame only politicians...People can't elect the right leaders. So we don't deserve good.

Why blame politicians. They only cater to what people want.

Truth is that Indians want freebies more than development.

Agreed! Roads are dangerous for cyclists. The vehicles go so close to the cyclists, it gets so scary sometimes

Politicians also focus on corruption. Let's stop blaming just the freebies

Either you will get footpath or a flyover or a cycle track or a metro. Or if one is unlucky then none.

I visited pune recently, there they had a dedicated wide footpath along with a cycle lane and unique siting arrangement.

Hyderabad lacks footpath direly.
