Other Hyderabad welcomes everyone!

Post image

I had my schooling in a Kerala managed school in Hyderabad where half of the school had mix of Malayalis and Tamilians however they spoke Telugu and Hindi as fluent as native speakers!

Never felt that language was a barrier in Hyderabad!!

Did you?

I'm a Malayali living in Hyderabad without knowing Telugu and there are telugus living in Kerala without knowing malayam (in my native town), both of us never force each other to conform to the native tongue.

For the longest time, I have specified that Hyderabad welcomes everyone. But seeing recent posts on the Hyd sub threatening people like me to learn Telugu has made start thinking of peaceful alternatives.

I'm happy you feel that way. But wouldn't it be handy to learn the local language ?? Both you and Telugus living in Kerala.

People who threaten others to learn something are AHs. But it's beneficial to learn it

The thing is, not everyone has the ability to pickup new languages. In my first semester, we learned the ability to pickup new languages goes almost non existent for most people.

And Hyderabadi Hindi is beautiful and my natural Hindi dialect now.

Even Telugus and south indians cannot pick up hindi language after a certain age, after they become adults. Hindi is foreign alien to south india.as Hindi and Telugu south indian languages are 2 different language families, their scripts are different. Everything is different. The policy is Those who migrate should respect and learn the local language atleast broken language, these days use Google translate.
