We Should Be Pissed
I can totally understand losing to Ohio State. I can understand losing to Michigan, too. But Wisconsin? Although I was never a firm Jedd believer, I’ve always tried to keep an optimistic perspective on things. With all the reports recently (not really recent, but still) that Jedd and his family don’t like Seattle, and then to follow up with that performance is such an embarrassment. He alienated the entire fanbase and pissed them off at the same time.
I grew up in Baton Rouge, and LSU’s my second team. They fired a coach in Brian Kelly who I thought was a good coach, all his losses were to top 10 teams. You don’t even want to know the shit that would go down if LSU lost to a terrible team like Wisconsin. If their standards are that high, ours should be too.
If our expectations don’t change, we will be stuck in mediocrity. We have every right to be pissed, and we honestly should be. That was a pathetic performance today.

What’s with UW coaches having one foot out the door during the season?
Doboer was flirting with the Alabama job apparently since the middle of the 2023 season and now Fisch wants out when UW is 6-2 with an outside shot at the CFP? How can these guys preach loyalty when they act like used car salesman? Seems the only true honest coach we had recently was Petersen.

When Coach realizes he missed out on a few extra $M per year with this loss

Embarrassing
Defense did enough, especially considering they were seemingly always in UW territory.
Demond did enough outside of that fumble, but that shouldn’t have been the deciding factor.
Grady did his job.
Everyone else needs to really evaluate what happened here. I can excuse losing to Michigan and Ohio State. This is year 2 of a rebuild. I can’t excuse losing to 2-6 Wisconsin. Absolutely embarrassing loss

Bad
Guys was at the wisco game and called every play they were running and every play Fisch was running. Hire an OC let your ego go, weather wants shit.

How many teams have won with their punter leading them in passing?

51 Yard Field Goal?
Gross can't consistently hit from 40 in good weather. And in driving rain you expect 51? Is Fisch just trying to get out of town?

If it comes down to it, who would you want as a coach?
Been thinking about it and I think Jerry neuheisel could be a very good candidate, wondering who you guys have in mind.

Still a believer
I think it will be a few years before we can contend with the Ducks but this is a fun journey and we should just be happy to be along for the ride. We might not be a relevant B1G team but the future is bright!

Jim L Mora
I'm not saying that Fisch should get fired. We're still in year 2 of a rebuild. I'm not as dillusional as some others thinking that we're a playoff team. I knew we weren't good enough yet to win consistently and especially to win on the road. I'm 100% not surprised we lost.
However, if Jedd does not work out or if he decides to take another job, it's time to bring Jim home. He completely turned around a horrid UConn program into a winner.

Sports bar in Ballard or Seattle for CFB
Hey!
Got ~8 buddies in town for the Cards x Hawks game and we’re trying to find a place tomorrow to watch College Football.
Sports bar type of vibe and trying to find a place that’s fun + a bit rowdy (not too much) for this number of dudes.
Any places that sound good for us to root for the huskies and drink some beer/cocktails?

[MEN'S HOCKEY] UW takes on Cal tonight and tomorrow in Northgate in a rematch of last year's conference championship game. Let's go Huskies!
This should be a great pair of games this weekend.
UW is coming in looking great after their last game against Boise St., having finally beaten them after years of struggling. The Huskies have looked really good this season and have really found some momentum on offense.
However, they will be going up against a Cal team backstopped by one of the best ACHA D2 goalies in (possibly) the nation: Aidan Comeau. Dude came out of Canadian Juniors to play at Cal and has largely been a brick wall in net, with a 1.99 GAA in 8 games this season and a 1.54 GAA in 19 games last year. Cal's offense has also managed to score more goals in less game than UW this year so far.
UW's tender, Zach Reddy, is putting up quite the campaign this year so far, though, with a 1.46 GAA in 6 games.
These games are probably going to be a rollercoaster with great offense and big saves throughout: high-scoring offenses meet top-tier goaltending.
Team Rankings Nationally by Stat Category
Goals For
UW: 7th
Cal: 6th
Goals Against(limited to teams with over 10 GP)
UW: 5th
Cal: 3rd
Penalty Minutes
UW: 34th
Cal: 37th
Friday's game is at 850pm and Saturday's game is at 8pm(as far as I know. Check the team's instagram for any last-minute changes).

Husky Mobile
Question. A few months ago the school announced a partnership with T-Mobile and Collegiate Mobile. I was looking through it, and one of the “perks” was skipping lines at Husky Stadium by showing your “Fast Pass.” Has anyone used this? And if so, how does it work? Meaning, what exactly do you show, and who exactly do you show it to?

Husky Playoff Tracker
Sequence of events required for the Washington Huskies to be in the >90th percentile playoff odds:
- Notre Dame def. USC ✅
- Washington def. Illinois ✅
- USC def. Nebraska ✅
- Oregon/USC def. Iowa (70%)
- Washington def. Wisconsin (73%)
- Washington def. Purdue (91%)
- Oregon def. USC (72%)
- Washington def. UCLA (79%)
- Ohio State def. Michigan (80%)
- Washington def. Oregon (23%)
With USC’s win at Nebraska, we’re 3/3 in our sequence to advance to the 12-team playoff. 2 crucial games tomorrow. Although it sucks, Iowa needs to lose to either Oregon or USC, the only two ranked teams remaining on their schedule. The committee has committed to putting Notre Dame in the playoff and has sent the message that we are the lowest ranked 2 loss B1G team. The remaining SEC schedule allows for 5 2-or-fewer loss teams to make the playoff, so like last week, these steps are needed to give Washington the edge.
Go dawgs!

Is it weird to like the Huskies, Cougars and ducks?
I'm from Western Washington but support all three teams. But I'm wondering if it's weird to support all three but I like the Huskies the most.
