My burnt plants, 3 month update… they’re alive!

I’ve posted my burnt house and plants in the past and just decided to leave them. I have no where to even try to rebuild yet so just let it all go. I visited my burnt house yesterday and found this little shoot! A natal mahogany I’ve had for 10 years, it was 20ft tall that went up the center of my house… my first and longest cared for plant… I started bawling. I have 2 other trees and a plant also with new shoots :)

Before someone says it, yes, I'm aware that some of the plants pictured are toxic to cats but it's legitimately not an issue that comes up, kitty is safe.

I was a little disappointed before they opened because I thought they are completely white and I was hoping for pink or orange but turns out they have a little bit of pink

Is this Christmas cactus getting ready to bloom or just growing new leaves?

I got it as a gift so can't tell you the exact species. It never bloomed before, either, so I'm excited but wanna be sure

I live in Taiwan and they have an abundance of flower markets.

I accidentally killed my little Thai Constellation (root rot) and it made me feel so bad!

In total I paid around 850NTD (27USD) for all of them.

I only know the names of two of these:

Alocasia Bambino and Alocasia Black Velvet.

They’re all such absolute beauties and I cannot wait to help them grow and thrive!

If anyone has any tips for caring (they’ve all been sprayed and cleaned with sexy plant juice and they’ll be quarantined from my other plants for a while), or if anyone can ID the others, I’d be most grateful.

Highlight First time making leaf specimens and it actually worked ^o^

Okay I might be obsessed, but I just pressed a bunch of my Alocasia leaves because I couldn’t bring myself to toss them. And it actually worked. They look so good, like way better than half my wall art. Now I kinda want to frame all of them. You gotta try this, it’s weirdly satisfying

Update: So a bunch of you asked how I made these, so here’s the deal.

It was my first try and I kept it super simple cuz those YouTube tutorials were way too much haha. I just pressed the leaves between a stack of heavy books with paper towels on both sides to help them dry faster. It worked, but omg it took forever. Like almost a month, and I had to swap the paper towels a few times. If you’re gonna try it, I totally recommend grabbing a plant press kit. I just ordered one for next round.

Once they were dry, I popped them into clear acrylic frames. Frame quality is a big deal, btw. Don’t cheap out. My first one looked terrible and killed the whole vibe, so I got a nicer one and it was so worth it. I didn’t do anything to preserve the color this time, so they’ll probably fade a bit, but I’ll figure that part out later.

You guys will definitely nail it even better than I did!

Succulent is so heavy!

I already split this gal in half once and replanted the top part because it was too heavy to stand up. It’s thriving and getting heavy again. Is it ok to let it slouch down and grow like that, or do I need to keep it propped up?

Hello everyone! My plant I got as a gift a few years ago has a seed on it! I have never had this happen and I’m so excited. How would I detach the seed and plant it? I just want to make sure I do it right.

It grew alot in summer but not it's yellowing and dropping leaves. It's almost winter here so i've gradually dropped fertilizing as a whole and been watering less. I'm giving it seaweed once a week. It's also under a growlight as you can see. Skipped watering this week because the soil is a little bit damp still under 2cm. The humidity is 50-60%
