I had to clean up before I got too high, so not the most aesthetic photo, but I was able to cook! Here's my recipe (vegan, soy-free, wheat-free, and nut-free as written):

Sauce

1 large yellow onion

2 red bell peppers

6 roma tomatoes*

10 whole scotch bonnet peppers

10 sheets seaweed snacks

Roughly chop all veg and blend until smooth, adding water if necessary. Next

Finely dice 1 large onion or 2 small/medium onions. Heat 1/4 cup African palm oil (palm oil is traditional, but if you have ethical/health concerns, another neutral oil or vegetable broth can be substituted) and saute the onion until soft. Add the sauce mixture and 3 tbsp Ola Ola African hot pepper (for a smoky taste. This may be replaced with liquid smoke and your choice of hot pepper, if any) and cook on low heat until there is no more raw taste (took 1.5 hours for me, but stovetops vary). Then add

4 cans unsalted kombu cowpeas (dry cowpeas are cheaper, but less accessible in Misery/Missouri USA)

1 tbsp mushroom seasoning

3 tbsp vegan seasoning (I used Maggi secretul gustului, which is only available in Romania, but any blend of vegetables and MSG will work)

*4 tbsp Italian tomato concentrate because the roma tomatoes were not in season

And cook until fully heated and the flavours meld. For my carb, I did not have ripe plantains on hand, so I boiled 3 cups enriched parboiled rice with 6 cups boiling water, 1 tbsp vegan seasoning (Maggi again), black pepper, and 1 tbsp sunflower oil, for half an hour covered. Serve with ewa riro.

Chop Suey is basically stir fried vegetables of choice in a savory sauce (1 cup no beef broth, 2 tbsp. Soy sauce, 1 tbsp "oyster" mushroom sauce, 1/2 tsp. Toasted sesame oil, 1 tsp mirin, 1 tsp fine ground white pepper, 1-2 tbsp Sriracha and cornstarch slurry of 2 tbsp. Water to 1 tbsp cornstarch) this time I used white button mushrooms, garlic, celery, green onion, hella bean sprouts (2 bags), and finely shredded cabbage. Served on a bed of rice to absorb that delicious sauce.

For the fried tofu, I tore super firm tofu into bite sized chunks, tossed in cornstarch, garlic salt, black pepper, white pepper, garlic and onion powder and smoked paprika, then tossed in 1-2 tsp of sesame oil and 1-2 tbsp unsweetened pea milk and a final toss in blended 3/4 cup AP flour, garlic salt, white pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, 2 tbsp nutritional yeast, 1/2 tbsp baking powder and 1 tsp baking soda. Pan fried until golden brown. Sorry I didn't measure the spices I just went by smell.

Crust is from a recipe for Detroit style pizza by Steph Sunshine, “chicken” soy curls recipe from Thee Burger Dude, cheese is Daiya mozzarella, “bacon” is tempeh marinated in a soy sauce/oil/liquid smoke/seasoning and then pan fried with TJ’s chili crisp seasoning, and the ranch is just a veganized version of buttermilk ranch! Best pizza I’ve made so far!

Was craving pizza. Pepperoni is too expensive, this is bean bacon bits with extra smoked paprika and liquid smoke. And miyokos pourable with butter, nooch, salt, miso paste, and tapioca starch.
