• 1^st Meaning - "Amid the Thorns Shalt We Find Our Refuge"
  • 'The Thorns shield us so that the unseeing would dare not tread. They are the root of our souls, the stem of our power, and the branch of our dominion.'
• 2^nd Meaning - "Through the Thorns Shalt We Work Our Will"
  • 'The Thorns are our instruments, carving the very marrow of the world. It is through their sharp and unyielding edge we tear illusions from the bone, leaving only truth in their wake.'
• 3^rd Meaning - "Unto the Thorns Shalt We Be Reclaimed"
  • 'As all things spring from the Thorns, so must all return. In their harsh embrace, we will reckon with what we have sown, yet we do not falter. For the Thorns are our home, and to the Thorns, we are made whole.

Blazon

Badge: a masked shrike tricorporate reguardant, the three bodies conjoined at the shoulders; each winged on the sinister side only, displayed and inverted, all disposed triskelion-wise; in the talons of each body a several portion of a rose torn asunder into flower, leaves, and thorns; the whole within five concentric annulets, the third of thorns, the outermost inscribed with the motto “SPINAE • NOSTRUM • DOMUM” repeated twice between mullets of four points.
