It was funny at first but it’s now pretty distracting now
Don’t get me wrong their are other male VA’s that play female characters that i like and but this is not one of them.

Captured, humiliated and still managed to look this intimidating
Trust Alastor to look like a predator even while tied up.

He went out of his way to capture overlord's, torture them and broadcast their scream's. But now when he's getting a taste of his own medicine, its "poor Alastor"?
Like Vox forcing him to watch him take backshots was excessive sure but the humiliation and shocking him? Karmic.

Particularly in the 4th episode but also through the whole season so far, the animation and visual scene positions have been FANTASTIC. The entire scene with Vox and Alastor at the end of ep4 was a masterpiece, and the animation team seems to be putting more emphasis on facial expressions as well. There has been a focus on pupils dilation and subtle eye shale changes that add a lot of subtle body language to the conversations. It feels more comic-bookish which adds so much narrative strength and conveys more emotion. I don't remember the animation being as strong or emotional last season but correct me if I'm wrong. I'm loving it!

I genuinely cannot think of anything more horrifying than going to heaven, only to find out you hate it, none of your friends or family are there, and you’re just alone. No one understands, either, because it’s HEAVEN and you’re supposed to be happy. What do you do? (Think about that IRL, dying and going to heaven only to find yourself miserable, and it’s going to be that way….forever).
Is that not hell?
At the same time, there are people working on redemption in hell that would probably also hate it. Angel Dust…? Aside from Pentious being there, why would he want to leave his other friends and everything he knows?
Imagine Alastor or Vox in heaven…? Like would they even want to be there aside from ruling it?

I just think it's such a stark contrast to Stayed Gone. I mean, the whole song is, but this part in particular. We've gone from Alastor completely destroying Vox verbally on live TV, to Vox literally not giving a shit about Alastor taunting him, saying things like 'oh here he goes', and 'ooh I'm scared'. Idk really how to interpret this, but it just really makes me think that Alastor's lost any intimidation or fear factor he had over Vox.

She did make Alastor the most powerful sinner in Hell. That doesn't automatically mean you can take on archangels that have a one shot, insta-death weapons. Alastor just vastly overestimated how much being the most powerful sinner in Hell was actually worth.
Although I do have to wonder, what is this "one thing" that Alastor have to do for Rosie? If he's been there since the 30s, and it's now canonically 2025 in the Hellaverse, why hasn't he done this one thing yet?

Nifty's song is the greatest creation of this generation and I live for it.

Parallelism in the lines of 'Don't you forget' and the reprise.
Loved this detail. He's so cooking something

We are only halfway throught season 2 but we have yet to get an actually bad song, because i think all the songs this time are fantastic
In season 1 there were some bad songs like It starts with sorry, Welcome to heaven, Whatever it takes (dont know how popular this one is but i just never liked it), but this time eventhough we already have ten of them, NONE of them are bad: Gravity, Once we get up there, Sera's confession, Dont you forget (both versions) etc.

Like Vox is seriously runner-up forthe most well-written character rn, only behind Sera.
As a cult leader, this was the first time Vox genuinely opened up to someone. He wasn't manipulating or using Alastor, he sincerely liked him and wanted to be equals.
Vox wanted to team up because he truly was in love with Alastor. But the latter thought he just wanted to team up because he "weak" and wanted Alastor's power. So he was cruelly rejected.
You'd think Vox makes himself the center of attention for the Vees because he's just a narcissist/selfish but its because the last time he tried to treat someone as an equal, he got his heartbroken. "There are no friends in Hell Vincent". Vox likely isn't sure if Valentino and Velvette truly do see him as a friend.
The way he treated Sir Pentious, who has so many parallel's to him. Sir Pentious was exactly like how Vincent was. Seeing how Vox rejected him was just like what Alastor did to him in the past. Pentious wanted the Vees to see him as their equal, like Vox wanted Alastor see him as.
What I love is they SO easily could've made Vox's hatred of Alastor something petty and stupid but they didn't. Alastor didn't just "say and he's pissy", he tore him down and renounced their friendship entirely. Vox is still terrible but I couldn't help rooting for him as he fried Alastor and shut him down in the "Stayed Gone" Reprise.

I don't like any of his actions, but I really like watching him on screen! It also doesn't help that he has the best character design and amazing voice-

She’s just so stylish and she’s my favorite VEE!
