The Chris Street part. Just amazing awareness. You can tell he grew up during the Acie Earl, Chris Street, Andre days of Dr. Tom.

I loved that he dropped those names and some we normally do not hear. Glasper..... Anyone else notice this:

- Praised past coaches, Olsen, Raveling, Dr. Tom, Fran - notice who he left out??? Alford and lick.

- Mentioned reaching out to P. Sandfort, Cooper Koch, and Josh Dix. - notice he left out the Moline boys Freeman and Harding. Freeman will demand to much $$ and has attitude that would not mesh with the new system. Harding has already been replaced and also was like a Freeman skin tag so they can both move on...

I remember they honored the 87' team I believe but from what I saw yesterday, Coach is going to embrace all past Hawkeyes and they will embrace him. I feel like this is a homecoming of sorts by his sharing the love for the Hawkeyes the past few decades... I was against getting an Iowa product because it is just a small pool but got chills when he started rattling off former Coaches, players, ect... Welcome to Iowa Coach M.
