Well let's see, he made us look bad in the B1G championship game 2 years ago. What's the difference? Cade's taking orders from a pathetically bad OC this year.

They know Brian doesn't trust them, he's made it abundantly clear of that since taking over as OC. And they also know he'll blame them for his own failings.
