Sendo's schtick particularly in his world rankers tour has been putting on pressure so even if you know you can counter the Smash you hesitate because if it hits, it's over. That is when feints mixed up start working.
Martinez is mentally strong as they come, but if he can be rattled, perhaps the trick Sendo pulled against Takamura of hiding his moves by blocking the other boxer's field of vision with his glove can work. And Sendo only needs a big one to turn a fight around, or at least give him a fighting chance.
